Job summary

RiverCity Ferries is seeking a dual trained deckhand and customer service officer in Brisbane. The role focuses on delivering safe, exceptional passenger experiences and requires flexibility to work early mornings, late afternoons, weekends, and public holidays across multiple fleet locations.

You will follow vessel masters' instructions and participate in safety drills and training. Essentials include ESS certificate and CPR/First Aid certification, with a commitment to WHS and professional

Qualifications

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Certificate in Elements of Shipboard Safety (ESS).
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current CPR/First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service with strong communication skills.
• Be flexible to work split shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Start work from a variety of fleet locations.
• Follow instructions from vessel masters.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Work Health & Safety.
• Apply effective conflict resolution skills.
• Be well presented and physically capable of performing the role.
• Participate in all required training, including safety drills.
