Job summary

Total Tools & Hardware Group (Part of Metcash) is looking for a hands-on Distribution Centre Supervisor at Ravenshall to lead a team of operators, ensuring daily targets are met with a strong focus on safety and compliance. You will report to the Regional Distribution Manager and drive performance across pickers, packers and forklift drivers.

The role offers a permanent 4-day, 10-hour shift pattern with hours from 4:00am to 6:00pm, and a full-time salary and benefits package.

• Experience with WMS and RF technology in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a large warehouse team to achieve daily targets.

About the Opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on Distribution Centre Supervisor to join our Ravenhall Distribution Centre.

Reporting to the Regional Distribution Manager, you'll lead a team of warehouse operators, including pickers, packers and forklift drivers, ensuring daily targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems and working in a fast-moving warehouse environment. You'll be responsible for team performance, safety, compliance and supporting the day-to-day operation of your area.

Best of all, you'll work a permanent 4-day week. That's four 10-hour shifts, with start and finish times between 4:00am and 6:00pm. We'll work with you to find a shift pattern that suits. The reward? A long weekend every week while still enjoying a full-time salary and benefits.

What you will be doing

• Lead, coach and support a large warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets.
• Manage team performance, conduct ATRs and support the ongoing development of team members.
• Coordinate labour resources and workflows to ensure service levels are achieved.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance and injury management.
• Monitor KPIs and take action to address operational issues and performance gaps.
• Support team communication through toolbox talks and team meetings.
• Work closely with other supervisors to ensure consistent operations across the site.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will bring

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or logistics leadership role.
• Experience leading teams and managing performance in a fast-paced operational environment.
• The confidence to have difficult conversations and make challenging decisions when required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience working with warehouse management systems and RF technology.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
