Job summary

NW People Group Pty Ltd in Kilsyth, VIC is seeking experienced Machine Operators for an established production facility. The role will start on Day Shift with potential Afternoon Shift depending on production needs and customer demand.

Responsibilities include operating and monitoring machinery, setting up equipment, loading materials, and conducting quality inspections to ensure efficient, safe production.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Machine Operator in a production setting.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Able to confidently operate and monitor production machinery.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Mechanical mindset with ability to identify basic machine issues.
• Good communication skills with team members.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Willing to rotate through different site duties and learn the full operation.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery.
• Set up and adjust machines as required.
• Load materials and products into machinery.
• Monitor production to ensure machines run efficiently.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products.
• Identify and report machine faults or production issues.
• Ensure products are correctly assembled, packaged and labelled.
• Complete general production and manual handling duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Rotate through different areas of the production facility as required.
