Job summary

Knauf Australia is seeking a Customer Service Operator - Forklift Driver at the Chullora trade store. You will contribute to daily distribution activities, handle loading/unloading, pick and pack orders, and support stock checks to maintain accuracy.

This is a full-time role Mon-Fri, 6am-3pm. You must have a forklift licence, be comfortable with manual handling, and have basic Microsoft Office skills. Applicants must have unrestricted Australian working rights and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution/logistics desirable.
• Must hold valid forklift licence.
• Must be able to perform daily manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Deal with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Pick and pack orders daily.
• Regularly check and make up orders.
• Receipt goods and check paperwork with due diligence.
• Load/unload customer vehicles.
• Maintain operational equipment and report faults or damage.
• Record and report customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager.
• Assist with stock takes/inventory counts to ensure accurate records.
• General warehouse duties and housekeeping.

About the Role
As a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver you will report to the Trade Store Manager, where you will be responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Chullora trade store.

Some tasks as part of this role include:

Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone

Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis

Regularly check & make up orders

Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence

Loading/unloading customer vehicles

Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management

Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures

Assist with stock take / inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained

General warehouse duties & housekeeping
