Job summary

Knauf Australia is seeking a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver at the Chullora site. The role handles daily distribution activities, customer interactions, and warehouse tasks to support the trade store.

The position requires a forklift licence, good computer skills, and the ability to work full-time, Mon-Fri from 6am to 3pm. Onsite parking is available, with benefits including 14 weeks parental leave and a yearly pay review.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution/logistics environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Must hold a forklift licence and be physically fit for manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider.
• Deal with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Picking and packing orders daily.
• Regularly checking and making up orders.
• Receiving goods and checking paperwork with accuracy.
• Loading and unloading customer vehicles.
• Maintain equipment and report faults.
• Record and report customer complaints per procedures.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory records.
• Perform general warehouse duties and housekeeping.

About You

• Located in or near Chullora
• Prior experience within the Distribution & logistics Industry
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Ability to work from the Chullora site full time – Mon-Fri 6am-3pm

About the Role

As a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver you will report to the Trade Store Manager, handling distribution activities through the daily operations of the Chullora trade store.

Key Responsibilities

• Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider
• Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
• Picking and packing orders daily
• Regularly checking and making up orders
• Receiving goods and checking paperwork while maintaining due diligence
• Loading and unloading customer vehicles
• Maintaining operational equipment and reporting faults or damage to management
• Recording and reporting customer complaints via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures
• Assisting with stock take and inventory counts to ensure accurate records
• Performing general warehouse duties and housekeeping
