Machiaj Laboratories, a Melbourne-based private company, is seeking a Chemical Compounder/Blender for its growing cosmetics range. You will batch process cosmetics, operate vessels and equipment, and maintain precise records to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with blending cosmetics and batch processing preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Follows GMP/ISO standards and OH&S practices at all times.
• Able to operate manufacturing equipment and handle chemicals safely.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg and maintain accurate production records.
• Good numeracy and written/verbal communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Batch processing and operating vessels and equipment per batch formulas.
• Maintain batch records, production activity logs and quality data.
• Prepare, clean and maintain equipment to GMP/ISO standards.
• Handle, store, pick & pack, and stocktake raw materials per protocols.
• Participate in meetings and training; contribute ideas for improvements.
