Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate automated data pipelines and DataOps practices in a fixed-term, full-time on-site role in Parramatta. You will implement reliable workflows, CI/CD processes, and deployment strategies to support analytics, digital products and operational systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation, observability tools and strong communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders.

• Experience engineering automated data pipelines at scale.
• Hands-on skills in cloud platforms, automation and observability tools.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.

• Deliver and optimise automated data pipelines and DataOps practices with reliable workflows, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
