Job summary

EY is seeking a highly skilled Databricks-focused Solution Architect to design and implement cloud-based data and AI solutions using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will shape technical direction, lead delivery teams and mentor junior staff across data engineering, analytics and AI.

This hybrid role can be based in Naarm – Melbourne, Meanjin – Brisbane or Warrang – Sydney, with potential flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Databricks Lakehouse platforms in complex environments.
• Ability to translate business and analytics requirements into solution designs.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, secure data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of Databricks solution architectures for data engineering, analytics, AI and reporting.
• Define end-to-end data platform and Lakehouse patterns including ingestion, governance and consumption layers.
• Provide technical leadership to delivery teams and mentor junior members.
