Job summary

The College Of Intensive Care Medicine in Prahran, VIC is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst on a 12-month parental leave contract. You will analyse data needs, design dashboards, and deliver datasets to support strategic decisions and operational reporting across the organisation.

You will bring SQL expertise, Power BI proficiency and experience building data models and visualisations. A relevant degree and ability to work independently are essential; collaboration with cross-functional teams is

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Analyst or similar with a relevant degree.
• Proven ability to query and analyse data using SQL and data prep tools.
• Experience creating data models, measures, calculations and visualisations for reporting.
• Strong skills with Power BI and across enterprise data sources; familiarity with iMIS/IDMS/TopClass/Looker Studio.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams and ability to communicate to non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and learning new technologies.
• Team player who works well in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support data governance practices including quality standards and documentation.
• Collaborate to develop ICT data policies and ensure data integrity.
• Design and maintain reporting datasets, data models and documentation.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate data-driven insights.
• Identify data delivery improvements and reduce data risks.
• Maintain ICT data components and respond to data-related queries.
• Assist with applications migration, security, and business continuity reporting.
