Job summary

Bridgestone Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Data Product & Governance Manager to lead enterprise data governance, products and AI initiatives within the Data & AI / IT team reporting to the Head of IT. You will define roadmaps, drive data quality and partner with leaders to deliver data-driven business value.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, strategic alignment with business priorities, and a track record in data governance and product management across analytics, reporting

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, and enterprise data initiatives.
• Experience establishing and managing governance frameworks, operating models and roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of data catalogues, metadata management, analytics and privacy & security.
• Proven ability to develop business cases, roadmaps and value realisation for data products.
• Preferred certifications listed in the qualifications.

About the Role

Bridgestone is looking for a Data Product & Governance Manager to join our Data & AI / Information Technology team at Bridgestone Australia & New Zealand, reporting to the Head of IT.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of Bridgestone's enterprise Data Governance Framework, policies, standards, and stewardship model.
• Define and execute the Data Product Strategy and Roadmap, managing the full lifecycle of enterprise data, analytics, reporting, and AI products.
• Drive data quality, master data management, and governance initiatives to ensure trusted, accurate, and accessible data across the organisation.
• Partner with business leaders to identify and deliver data-driven, analytics, automation, and AI opportunities that create measurable business value.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, governance, and regulatory requirements while fostering a data-driven culture and supporting the growth of Bridgestone's Data & AI capabilities.

About You

You'll be:

• A strategic and commercially minded leader who can align data initiatives with business priorities.
• A collaborative relationship builder with exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• A results-driven and analytical professional passionate about delivering value through data, analytics, and AI.

Additionally, you'll have:

• Demonstrated experience in Data Management, Analytics, Product Management, Digital, or Technology roles.
• Proven experience establishing and managing Data Governance frameworks, operating models, and enterprise data initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data Catalogues, Metadata Management, Analytics & Reporting, AI & Automation, and Data Privacy & Security.
• Demonstrated success managing enterprise data, analytics, digital, or AI products, including developing business cases, roadmaps, and value realisation frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• DAMA Certification (CDMP).
• Product Management Certification.
• Agile Product Owner Certification.
• Project Management qualification.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, Power BI, and Azure Data Platforms
