Job summary

TL Consulting Group is hiring an experienced Data Engineer in Sydney to design, build, and optimize a modern data platform across Azure Databricks and Fabric. You will architect scalable data solutions, enable data-driven decision-making, and lead data engineering initiatives across client engagements.

The role requires 3+ years in data engineering or analytics, strong cloud expertise in Azure, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows on Databricks and Fabric.
• Architect lakehouse solutions using Delta Lake and OneLake.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Establish data quality frameworks and governance policies.
