Job summary

Insignia Financial in Hobart, TAS, is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to help build and mature modern, scalable data platforms that empower analytics and business decisions across the enterprise.

You will work with cloud technologies, contribute to data pipelines, CI/CD, and platform automation, and collaborate with a passionate, knowledge-sharing team to grow your technical skills and influence how data solutions are designed and delivered.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Engineering or similar technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting scalable data platforms.
• Strong Python and/or Java development skills for data solutions.

We're looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join us on our journey to build and enhance modern, scalable data platforms that empower analytics, insights and better business outcomes across the enterprise. Working across modern data engineering technologies, you'll contribute to large-scale data solutions that support teams across the business.

What You Will Bring

You’ll Bring

• Experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering or a similar technical discipline
• Hands-on experience designing, building and supporting scalable data platforms, pipelines and data processing solutions
• Strong Python and/or Java development skills, with experience building scalable data solutions
• Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, batch and streaming data processing, along with modern DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
