Job summary

Total Resource Solutions is seeking a Data Migration Analyst to support the private markets data migration into eFront. You will extract, map, transform and reconcile datasets, coordinating with fund accounting and technology teams to ensure data integrity.

This is a 12-month contract with extensions, located in Sydney CBD with WFH option. You will work across multiple source systems and collaborate with offshore stakeholders to resolve data issues and ensure governance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex data migrations within financial services or fund administration.
• Strong understanding of private markets including private equity, private debt, infrastructure or alternative investments.
• Knowledge of investment and fund structures, including funding entities and capital movements.
• Experience extracting, mapping, transforming and reconciling data from multiple source systems.
• Hands-on with eFront or similar platforms.
• Strong Excel skills with large datasets.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Data Migration Analyst x 2 - Private Markets & eFront

• Up to $1100 p/d + super
• 12 month contract with extensions

Primary Purpose of the Role

The Data Migration Analyst will be responsible for extracting, mapping, transforming, reconciling and migrating private markets investment data into eFront. Working closely with business stakeholders, fund accounting teams and technology specialists, you will support the migration of complex financial datasets, ensuring data is correctly structured, validated and aligned with the target platform.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the migration of private markets investment and fund data from multiple legacy systems and data sources into eFront.
• Analyse and map complex financial datasets, ensuring accurate transformation into the target system.
• Perform data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) activities across multiple data sources.
• Scrub, cleanse, reconcile and validate data to maintain accuracy and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Work with investment data including fund structures, investment transactions, funding entities and historical records.
• Support the configuration and mapping of investment and funding entities within eFront.
• Collaborate with fund accountants, business analysts, technology teams and offshore stakeholders to resolve data issues.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies and migration risks, developing practical solutions.
• Support migration testing, reconciliation and go-live activities.
• Ensure migrated data meets business requirements and established data governance standards.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex data migrations within financial services, investment management or fund administration.
• Strong understanding of private markets, including private equity, private debt, infrastructure or alternative investments.
• Sound knowledge of investment and fund structures, including funding entities, capital movements and transactional data.
• Experience extracting, mapping, transforming and reconciling data from multiple source systems.
• Hands-on experience with eFront or similar private markets investment management platforms.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data cleansing, data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience working with complex financial datasets and historical investment records.
• Strong Excel skills and experience manipulating and analysing large datasets.
• Ability to engage with fund accountants, investment operations teams and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with HiPort or other investment administration systems.
• Background in fund accounting, investment operations or asset servicing.
• Experience supporting large-scale investment platform implementations or migration programmes.
• SQL or other data manipulation and automation capabilities.
