Job summary

The Data Analyst at UNSW Business School in Sydney supports accreditation, improvement, and decision-making by delivering high-quality data analysis, insights and reports. You will collect, integrate and interpret data from multiple sources to produce dashboards and visualisations that support AACSB, EQUIS and PRME.

Using Excel, Power BI, Tableau and languages like Python or SQL, you will transform large datasets, improve data systems, and provide analyses to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree in data analysis or related field.
• Experience with large data sets from multiple sources.
• Strong Excel skills and data modelling ability.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or R for analysis.
• Experience with Power BI and Tableau for visualisations.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks and Analysis Services.
• Experience with accreditation bodies and higher education data is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality data analysis, insights and reporting to support accreditation and decision-making.
• Collect, integrate, analyse and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
• Produce dashboards and visualisations to support AACSB, EQUIS and PRME requirements.
• Manage data capture and reporting processes and improve data systems.
• Provide analyses to senior Faculty stakeholders and the Accreditation team.
