Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Data Analyst to support accreditation processes through high-quality data analysis, insights and reporting. You will collect, integrate and interpret data to produce dashboards and visuals that support AACSB, EQUIS and PRME reporting.

Using Excel, Power BI, Tableau and programming languages (Python, SQL or R), you will transform large datasets into actionable insights while improving data collection and analytics capability within the Business School.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary degree with experience in data analysis and data modelling or proven equivalent competency gained through any other combination of education, training, or experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with large data sets, from a range of structured and unstructured sources to draw insights and produce visualisations.
• A high competency manipulating and analysing data in Excel and the ability to model and analyse in one or more programming languages (preferably Python, SQL, R).
• A high competency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI and knowledge of MS Azure's cloud platform and applications such as Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks & Analysis Services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality data analysis, insights and reporting to support accreditation and strategic decision-making.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualisations from multiple data sources.
• Support development of reliable data systems and reporting processes.
• Provide analysis and advice to senior stakeholders and accreditation teams.
