You will work with the Head of Data, Technology and Program Management, data specialists, product owners, and external providers to turn ideas into sustainable capabilities while ensuring alignment with financial crime requirements and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple complex strategic priorities and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Working knowledge of financial crime, including fraud, money laundering, fraud detection or disruption.
• Strong ability to translate strategy into deliverable data, product and technology initiatives; familiarity with product development lifecycles.

• Lead a portfolio of concurrent strategic data, technology, and innovation initiatives from definition through implementation and benefits realisation.
• Translate strategy and financial crime priorities into clear outcomes, deliverables, sequencing, milestones, and success measures.
• Coordinate specialist contributions across internal data, product, technology, architecture, security, privacy, and business teams.
• Drive timely decisions, resolve blockers, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks with practical options and recommendations.
• Apply financial crime knowledge to shape requirements and prioritise work by threat, harm and member value.
• Manage external providers against scope, quality, timelines and outcomes; intervene early if delivery is at risk.
• Ensure initiatives comply with company policies and relevant information security, privacy, legal, procurement, and regulatory obligations.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a pioneering Fintech organisation during an important stage of growth and delivery. This is a hands‑on role for a Data & Innovation Implementation Lead who thrives on driving strategic data, technology, and innovation priorities from intent through to measurable operational outcomes.

Working closely with the Head of Data, Technology and Program Management, you will collaborate with internal data specialists, product owners, technology teams, and external service providers to turn complex ideas into practical, adopted, and sustainable capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a portfolio of concurrent strategic data, technology, and innovation initiatives from definition through implementation and benefits realisation.
• Translate strategy and financial crime priorities into clear outcomes, deliverables, sequencing, milestones, and success measures.
• Coordinate specialist contributions across internal data, product, technology, architecture, security, privacy, and business teams.
• Drive timely decisions, resolve blockers, manage dependencies, and escape material risks with practical options and recommendations.
• Apply financial crime knowledge to shape requirements, challenge assumptions, and prioritise work according to threat, harm, and member value.
• Manage external providers against agreed scope, quality, timelines, and outcomes, intervening early where delivery is at risk.
• Ensure initiatives comply with company policies and relevant information security, privacy, legal, procurement, and regulatory obligations.

About You:

You will have a demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex strategic priorities concurrently and deliver measurable outcomes. You will also possess working knowledge of financial crime, including fraud, scams, money laundering, intelligence sharing, detection, or disruption.

You are confident translating strategy into deliverable data, product, and technology initiatives, backed by a strong understanding of product development lifecycles. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary internal teams and managing external service providers against clear deliverables will be highly regarded, alongside a strong background in commercial judgement and negotiation. Experience delivering change in a regulated, data-sharing, financial services, or financial crime environment is highly desirable.

You can influence without relying on formal authority and confidently adapt your communication style for executives, technical specialists, financial crime practitioners, and service providers.
