Job summary

Macquarie Group seeks a People & Culture Data Governance Specialist to embed governance and data management practices across the People and Culture function. You will partner with data owners, product teams and technology partners to implement governance standards, review controls and evidence, and ensure data products meet enterprise requirements across the data lifecycle.

You will enable responsible data use, strengthen data quality and controls and support emerging AI capabilities, while

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, data management, data risk, data quality, data analysis or related discipline; apply governance practices in a practical business environment.
• Knowledge of data governance platforms such as Collibra, including data ownership, business glossaries, metadata management and data lineage concepts
• Understanding of end-to-end data flows and modern data environments (source systems, cloud platforms, data warehouses, reporting)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate across business and technology teams and drive improvements
• Attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset; knowledge of SQL, cloud technologies, AI, automation or people data environments is advantageous.
