The Information and technology team plays a key role in helping Cancer Council NSW achieve its vision and strategy. The team is comprised of passionate and purposeful individuals tasked with leading and executing technology and data strategy. We aim to grow our impact within the organisation by effectively managing our data and maintaining a customer‑centric approach to our service.
We are seeking a talented individual for a newly created role within our IT team, reporting to the Data Governance Manager. In this position, you will support the Data Governance Manager in establishing and delivering organization‑wide data governance strategies and activities. You will be responsible for establishing and managing the execution of management of data governance practices and working closely with business and IT Security teams to help ensure Cancer Council NSW data is discoverable, classified, and effectively managed in alignment with policies and regulatory requirements. You will help shape and drive our workstream outcomes, both immediately and in the coming years.
