Job summary

Harvey Norman is seeking a skilled Data Governance lead to develop and embed enterprise-wide governance frameworks. You will drive policy creation, data quality and regulatory compliance across the organisation, including data cataloguing, classification and lineage.

You will partner with IT, Risk, Privacy and Legal, and lead forums to embed accountability and ensure secure, trusted data assets that support business growth and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and embedding enterprise data governance frameworks and standards.
• Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise data governance framework across Harvey Norman.
• Drive implementation of data governance platforms including data catalogue, classification, discovery and data lineage.
• Establish governance forums and partner with business, IT, Risk, Legal and Architecture teams.
• Develop policies, controls and processes to support data quality, accessibility and compliance.
• Lead data governance initiatives, literacy programs and capability uplift activities.
• Oversee data governance tooling rollout and continuous improvement across cloud environments.
