Australian Payments Plus Limited is seeking a Data Engineer to turn payments data into trusted, usable assets. You will design, build and productionise scalable data pipelines across Snowflake, AWS, Python and SQL.

You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, implement data governance and security, and support the platform with on-call rotation. This role is based in Sydney, offering exciting growth in a fast-paced payments ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience building enterprise data infrastructure.
• Experience with Snowflake, Python, SQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience with ETL tools and data transformation.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Ingest data from APIs, databases, files, event streams.
• Ensure pipelines are reliable, scalable and performant.
• Implement orchestration, monitoring and error handling.
• Provide on-call support as part of a rotation.
