Australian Payments Plus is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to turn payments data into trusted assets across our modern data platform. You will design, build and productionise scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, AWS, Python and SQL to enable reliable insights and decisions.

You'll work on batch and real-time ingestion, governance and security, collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, and contribute to an Agile, autonomous team driving performance and reliability across the payments

Qualificações

• Hands-on data engineer with 2+ years building enterprise data infrastructure.
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, Airflow and Kafka in production.
• Strong Python, SQL and data integration capabilities.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality and security for payment data.
• Ability to work autonomously in an Agile team and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, deploy and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Ingest data from APIs, databases, files and event streams.
• Ensure reliability, performance and maintainability of pipelines.
• Implement orchestration, observability, error handling and recovery.
• Apply governance, security practices to payment data.
