Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to join the Platform Engineering and Data Ops team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Sydney. You will design, build, and test core data pipelines across the Enterprise Data Platform, focusing on Medallion architecture using Snowflake and native integrations to SAP and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Snowflake expertise with Python/SQL data transformations.
• Experience building Medallion (Bronze-Silver-Gold) pipelines and data ingestion to Snowflake.
• CI/CD deployment of data models with testing and quality checks.
• Ability to build native connectors to SAP and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Medallion pipeline architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Build and test enterprise-grade data models using Snowflake-native features.
