Job summary

BizCover in Sydney is seeking two Data Engineers to join our data team. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, shape models, and ensure data quality to support scaling our SME insurance platform.

You'll work with Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt Cloud and MSSQL, build observable pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt Cloud, and MSSQL.
• Ability to model data using best practices.
• Proficient in writing tests and improving reliability.
• Strong documentation and technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of data pipelines, models, and tests
• Implement reusable patterns and model structures in MSSQL, dbt Cloud, and Snowflake
• Monitor data quality, lineage, and job health
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define scalable data solutions
