Job summary

Nine is seeking a technical Data Engineer to join the QMS Integration Program, working across Workday HCM and Dynamics 365. The role focuses on building automated ETL/ELT pipelines, BigQuery staging, and automated file ingestion for mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and final cutover weekends.

Responsibilities include transforming data across multiple ERP and HR systems, tuning SQL for large datasets, and ensuring data privacy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building automated ETL/ELT data pipelines, complex transformation scripts, and using BigQuery for staging tables, relational models, and complex SQL scripts.
• Hands‑on proficiency with Git version control and data pipeline orchestration frameworks such as DBT.
• Technical familiarity with enterprise HR systems (Workday EIBs) and Financial ERP systems (Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Salesforce, Basware).
• Demonstrated ability to write automated data cleansing routines, performance‑tune SQL queries for high‑volume datasets, and implement robust data privacy/security frameworks.
• Experience in an ASX‑listed or large enterprise environment (Media industry experience or exposure to Workday HCM/D365 migration toolsets is highly advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Build ETL/ELT pipeline architectures and automated file extraction routines with BigQuery staging tables.
• Analyse source/target schemas (Workday EIBs, D365, NetSuite) to build automated transformation scripts and reconciliation deltas.
• Execute automated extraction, translation, and conversion pipelines across mock migrations and dress rehearsals.
• Maintain and optimise transformation SQL logic based on defect feedback and ad-hoc data reloads.
• Run live cutover data pipelines for final balances and opening journals with real-time monitoring.
