Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a Data Engineer and Analyst to build robust data pipelines, analyse loyalty program performance, and provide actionable insights for decision-making. You will work across loyalty, brand, and business teams to ensure accurate reporting and scalable data infrastructure.

You will design data models, optimise data flows, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to turn data into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years delivering analytics solutions, preferably in retail or consumer spaces.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud ETL tools and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, consistency, and governance compliance.
• Champion a data-driven culture across loyalty, brand, and business teams.
• Create and implement data models to support analytics needs.
• Optimize data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with technology teams to support automation and data value.
• Integrate data from internal and external systems for a unified view.
• Partner with stakeholders to support data-driven decisions and performance.
• Analyze loyalty metrics and KPIs like lifetime value, earn rates, and redemption rates.
• Develop reporting assets and frameworks for insights across loyalty programs.
• Design and maintain data pipelines to load data into data lakes/lakehouse.
