We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a financial services client in the superannuation sector. This is an all rounder role spanning data infrastructure and pipeline development across a modern Azure data platform.

It's a hands on contract role for someone who's equally comfortable building robust pipelines and shaping the underlying platform, and who enjoys working across the full data engineering stack.

What you'll be doing

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines across an Azure environment
• Contribute to data platform infrastructure, performance and reliability
• Develop and optimise ingestion, transformation and integration processes
• Support data quality, monitoring and observability
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ship robust, production-ready solutions

What you'll bring

• Strong data engineering experience across enterprise environments
• Hands‑on experience with Azure data services (e.g. Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks)
• Pipeline development experience using SQL and Python (or similar)
• Exposure to data platform infrastructure and DevOps practices
• Financial services or superannuation experience a bonus
• Confidence working with both technical and business stakeholders
• A consultant mindset. Making our client's lives easier.
