Job summary

luvo Talent seeks an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join a high-performing team delivering cloud-based data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will design and build robust, scalable data pipelines while collaborating with architects, developers and business stakeholders on enterprise-scale data initiatives.

You will work in a hybrid setup with three days in office in Melbourne, contributing to Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse projects, and applying data modelling best

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering experience or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and Python development skills.
• Commercial experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse.
• Solid data modelling and warehousing knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and API development.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Azure-based data pipelines.
• Build and optimize solutions using ADF, Databricks and Synapse Analytics.
• Develop Python-based solutions, Azure Functions and APIs.
• Work with SQL, JSON and modern data integration technologies.
• Apply data modelling and warehousing best practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.

• Designing, developing and maintaining Azure-based data pipelines.

• Developing Python-based solutions, Azure Functions and APIs.
• Working with SQL, JSON and modern data integration technologies.
• Applying data modelling and data warehousing best practices.

• Working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.

What we're looking for
