Job summary

Kmart Group is seeking a Workforce Optimisation Lead to drive productivity and continuous improvement across its store network in Australia. The role focuses on using data, scenario modelling and stakeholder collaboration to optimise labour performance and store outcomes.

The successful candidate will have strong analytics, exposure to labour modelling, advanced Excel skills and experience with workforce management platforms. Hybrid working arrangements are available across stores and offices.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning, analytics or related field.
• Experience in retail or customer-facing operations.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets.
• Exposure to labour modelling, scheduling or workforce management.
• Advanced Excel capabilities for modelling and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Analyse labour usage and productivity to identify optimisation opportunities across stores.
• Validate and refine labour standards to reflect operational needs.
• Develop insights to improve labour efficiency and outcomes.
• Build scenario models to test workforce changes and demand shifts.
• Collaborate with Design, Planning and stakeholders on optimisation initiatives.
• Provide analytical support for workforce planning decisions.
• Track initiative performance and realised benefits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs for processes and execution.
