Qualifications

• Mentor, coach and advise teachers on classroom pedagogy and planning.
• Strong data analysis skills to track student progress and inform instruction.
• Experience promoting literacy and numeracy strategies across curriculum.
• Expertise in using formative assessments to guide curriculum decisions.
• Knowledge of literacy and numeracy strategies across curriculum areas.
• Not required to be Catholic.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support in the use of data to track student progress at individual, cohort and whole school level; modify plans to improve outcomes.
• Provide teachers with feedback on classroom pedagogy and planning.
• Support teachers in using formative assessment to inform teaching and curriculum decisions.
• Promote literacy and numeracy practices within curricula and monitor progress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students where applicable.
• Collaborate with school teams to ensure effective teaching and learning across year levels.
