Job summary

Northern Beaches Council is seeking a qualified library and information professional to join our Libraries team on a permanent, full-time basis with a 35-hour week. This role focuses on data-driven collection management, innovation projects, and delivering contemporary library services to the Northern Beaches community.

You will be digitally savvy, analytical and an excellent communicator, with the ability to build relationships and coordinate collections-related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified library and information professional.
• Digitally savvy with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in collection management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Undertake data gathering and reporting to support evidence-based approaches to collection management.
• Undertake projects as required to contribute to ongoing innovation and collections improvements.
• Undertake collection management activities to support contemporary practices across the service.
