Job summary

Australian Signals Directorate is seeking Data Centre Technicians to plan, deploy, maintain and decommission ICT hardware within a complex system. You will support the hardware lifecycle, diagnose infrastructure faults, and contribute to documentation and continual improvement.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with data centre activities, strong service management understanding, and excellent communication. Travel across locations may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with ICT hardware infrastructure and data centre activities.
• Ability to work with complex ICT systems and requirements.
• Knowledge of ICT service management principles and continual improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform ICT hardware deployment, integration and decommissioning activities.
• Support hardware lifecycle activities and inventory management.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure faults and problems.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvement.
• Assist planning and execution of ICT hardware deployment and decommissioning.
• Monitor and support health and performance of the IT system.
• Collaborate with teams; communicate effectively across modes.
• Travel as required for assignments across locations.
