Job summary

Certis Security Australia is seeking an experienced NV2-Cleared Security Supervisor to safeguard a Data Centre in North Sydney. You will oversee daily security operations, supervise officers, ensure site compliance and act as a key liaison between the client and Certis leadership.

This permanent full-time role requires Australian citizenship, NV2 clearance, Security Licence 1A, First Aid and CPR, plus proven leadership in high-security environments.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship due to government security clearance requirements.
• Current NV2 Security Clearance.
• Must hold Security Licence, Classification 1A (Unarmed Leading).
• Valid First Aid Certificate (3-year validity) with CPR Certificate (1-year validity).
• Ability to successfully complete an Australian Police Check.
• Previous experience in a security supervisory role within high-security environments.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations and support security officers across all shifts.
• Conduct shift briefings and handovers to ensure operational continuity.
• Act as primary escalation point for incidents, emergencies and compliance matters.
• Monitor staffing requirements and assist with rostering and workforce coverage.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality customer service.
• Ensure compliance with site security procedures, access control and audit standards.
• Manage access requests and security records using client systems.
• Respond to, investigate and document incidents with accurate reporting.
• Support training, coaching and development of security personnel.
• Conduct site patrols and inspections to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Promote safety, compliance and performance culture through leadership.
