Job summary

MSS Security is hiring Security Officers for a role in Sydney, with sponsorship available for candidates who do not yet hold a Positive Vetting clearance. Successful applicants will be eligible for a competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year if they hold Positive Vetting clearance.

Candidates must be Australian citizens, possess or be willing to obtain the necessary NSW security clearances and licences, and be available to work a 24/7 rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizen required.
• Baseline, NV1, NV2 or PV Clearance (or willing to obtain).
• Valid NSW Security Licence.
• Valid NSW Driver Licence.
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
• 24/7 availability to work rotating roster.
• Must be able to supply background information including referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and the building is secure.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
• Oversee CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors with inquiries.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.
