Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer (Data Centres) to lead high-performance mechanical design across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive technical leadership, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver resilient, efficient systems for hyperscale facilities.

You will collaborate with clients, leverage global networks and shape the future of Jacobs' Data Centre portfolio while growing relationships with leading developers and operators.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering complex mechanical engineering projects within Data Centres or Mission Critical Facilities.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams on major engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of mission-critical mechanical systems and infrastructure.
• Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical design for hyperscale, colocations and mission-critical facilities.
• Provide technical leadership across projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams from concept design through commissioning.
