Job summary

Logical Resources is seeking Mechanical and Electrical Commissioning Managers to lead commissioning and handover on data centre projects in Melbourne. This permanent role offers a competitive salary, super, and bonus, with a pipeline of high-profile facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Advanced Diploma or trade qualification in HVAC/refrigeration/electrical).
• Data centre commissioning experience is highly regarded; training available for right candidate.
• Strong knowledge of data centre mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems to meet performance, reliability and safety specs.
• Manage multiple commissioning programmes with engineers, contractors, vendors and clients to stay on track.
• Establish and maintain QA processes, document commissioning activities, and perform inspections and audits for compliance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth handover readiness and train operations staff.
• Keep abreast of new tech and industry trends to improve commissioning efficiency.
