Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd is seeking an ICT Design Engineer to help design the physical layer for AWS data centers. You will collaborate with engineers and managers to develop pathway, space, and cabling designs, and to define construction and permitting specifications.

The role involves coordinating with industry suppliers, reviewing submittals, and supporting new technologies to improve infrastructure quality and reduce costs. A dynamic, inclusive team culture awaits.

Qualificações

• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities such as data centers, power, and cooling systems.
• Experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers.
• Experience in commissioning ICT/telecommunications infrastructure.
• 2+ years of infrastructure, construction, or data center operations with hands-on ICT/structured cabling design.

Responsabilidades

• Develop ICT design for pathway, space, and cabling in data centers.
• Create specifications for construction and permitting.
• Engage with suppliers to define product requirements and explore new technologies.
• Review ICT pathway, cabling and equipment submittals.
• Travel 20+% to review projects and coordinate with on-site personnel and contractors.
