Job summary

Cockram Construction, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer/CM to manage electrical distribution installations on a data center project in Youngstown, OH. You will oversee on-site coordination, ensure compliance with project specs, budget, and schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, and 5+ years in electrical construction management. Experience in data centers is highly desirable. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in electrical construction management or engineering within construction.
• Data center experience highly desired.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HV/MV/LV installations and ensure compliance with designs and client standards.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, SLDs, technical submittals, and RFIs with the design team.
• Verify installations meet NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate service connections with local utilities and manage on-site energy systems.
• Monitor safety, SWMS/JSA adherence and support safety teams on site.
• Support commissioning and turnover with as-built drawings and documentation.
