Zusammenfassung

Australian Sports Commission in Sydney is seeking a Data Architect to lead enterprise data management on the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP). You will shape data governance, architecture standards and cloud data solutions to support analytics and reporting across ASC.

The role requires strategic thinking, collaboration with data stewards and owners, and mentoring data professionals to build sustainable capability within the organisation.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated experience architecting data solutions and platforms.
• Proven ability to lead data cleansing, migration and transformation initiatives, incl. ERP modernisation.
• Knowledge of data modelling and storage optimisation for reporting and analytics environments.
• Experience contributing to governance forums and producing architecture artefacts.
• Proven ability to engage executives and data owners to drive outcomes.
• Strong understanding of security, data classification, privacy and information management.

Aufgaben

• Lead large-scale data cleansing, migration and transformation initiatives, including complex modernisation programs.
• Develop enterprise data strategies, governance-aligned architectures and data quality management frameworks.
• Design and implement scalable, secure and cost-effective cloud-based data platforms that support analytics, reporting, integration and operational workloads.
• Architect and deliver complex ETL, ELT and hybrid data pipelines for high-volume data movement, integration and assurance.
• Implement reference data management, stewardship and governance capabilities to support trusted business measures and outcomes.
• Develop architecture roadmaps, manage technical backlogs, estimate complex initiatives and provide technical leadership across governance forums.
• Engage effectively with stakeholders, communicate clearly with executive, business and technical audiences, mentor data professionals and uplift organisational data capability.
