Job summary

Macquarie Group seeks a Data Analyst to transform data into meaningful insights that support business growth and informed decision-making. You will develop reporting and visualisations, identify trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver practical solutions that address business needs.

You will also lead projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring outcomes align with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in data analysis, business intelligence, process improvement, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience validating and analysing data from multiple sources.
• Proven ability to present complex data clearly using Power BI/Excel.
• Experience managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, ideally with automation or AI tools.

What role will you play?

As a Data Analyst, you will transform data into meaningful insights that support business growth, operational effectiveness, and informed decision-making. You will develop reporting and visualisations, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that address business needs. You will also lead projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring outcomes are aligned to strategic priorities and continuous improvement objectives.

What you offer

• 3+ years’ experience in data analysis, business intelligence, process improvement, or a related field, with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable recommendations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience gathering, validating, and analysing data from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunities
• Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar platforms, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and accessible way
• Proven experience managing projects and building effective relationships with stakeholders across different teams to deliver successful business outcomes
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, ideally using automation or artificial intelligence tools, within a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
