Job summary

Wesley Mission Queensland Limited seeks a strategic Manager of Data & Analytics to lead enterprise data management, analytics and AI strategy. You will establish governance, promote data literacy, and partner across the organisation to translate data into measurable improvements in service delivery and client outcomes.

You will oversee data platforms, implement modern data technologies, and mentor a high-performing Data & Analytics team while balancing privacy, quality and ethical considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Management, Information Systems, Information Science, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
• COVID-19 vaccination status as required by legislation and WMQ policy.
• Probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy.
• Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel for work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of WMQ's enterprise data, analytics and AI strategy.
• Establish and oversee data and AI governance, privacy, quality and ethical frameworks.
• Drive opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, forecasting, AI and automation to improve service delivery and outcomes.
• Define and manage the enterprise data platform, including cloud data services and governance tooling.
• Champion a data-informed culture through stakeholder engagement and data literacy initiatives.
