Icon Group is seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Engineer in Melbourne to drive the next phase of our data capability. You will own data pipelines, warehousing, and reporting while collaborating across the business to deliver practical data solutions.

You’ll work hands-on with ETL, SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric, shaping how data supports smarter decisions. This role offers autonomy and a tangible impact across a diverse Group.

Qualifications

• HHands-on data engineering and warehousing experience across modern data platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and data modelling background.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Support the ongoing development and optimisation of our data warehouse and broader data environment.
• Develop scalable data solutions that improve data quality, accessibility and reliability.
• Build reporting, dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI.
• Contribute to the continued development of our Microsoft Fabric environment
• Work with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, AI and emerging technologies.
• Build on our existing data foundations while bringing your own ideas and technical expertise to the role.
• Work across a diverse Group environment with exposure to a broad range of business and operational data.
