Job summary

Prime Kitchens Group Pty Ltd in Campbellfield, Victoria, is seeking a Data Analyst & BI Developer to turn sales, inventory and production data into actionable insights. This full-time role reports to the Managing Director and will build dashboards, automate reports and support resource planning.

You will work across sales, procurement and manufacturing, applying forecasting techniques and ETL with SSIS to drive efficiency and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a related discipline.
• At least two years of data analysis and BI development experience, ideally within manufacturing or trading.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL Server and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL processes using SSIS.
• Sound understanding of data science and forecasting techniques and the ability to build analytical models.
• Ability to analyse business workflows and translate data into practical, data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales, inventory, procurement and production data and translate it into actionable insights for management.
• Develop dashboards and management reports and automate reporting processes using Python, SQL Server and Power BI.
• Review and analyse business workflows to identify improvement opportunities and deliver data-driven solutions for production planning, purchasing, inventory control and sales operations.
• Apply data science and forecasting techniques to understand demand trends, support effective resource planning and improve overall business efficiency.
• Design and implement ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Develop analytical and forecasting models to support decision-making and drive continuous operational improvement.
