Job summary

Jaybro Group in Australia is seeking a Data Analyst to turn supply chain data into smarter decisions, optimise inventory, and support procurement and inventory management with clear insights.

You will maintain master data records, develop procurement dashboards, analyse price changes, and collaborate with Buyers to implement corrective actions. Advanced Excel and BI tools like Power BI and Databricks are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate, analyse, and transform data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, clean, consistent vendor, item, and inventory replenishment master data records.
• Analyse supplier price changes to evaluate the financial impact to the business and ensure supplier pricing remains accurate and up to date within the ERP.
• Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports as well as interpret the data and trends to provide insights to the business to support procurement & supply chain decision making.
• Analysis of inventory levels and supply trends to support inventory optimisation to prevent shortages and reduce slow moving and obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate reviews of slow moving and obsolete stock by working with the Category Manager to identify actions to reduce.
• Provide root cause analysis of stock outs and work with the relevant Buyer to review and implement corrective actions
• Identify potential products that could be sourced from overseas suppliers, taking into account stock turns, MOQs and containerisation.
