Job summary

Jaybro Group PTY LTD in Western Australia is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Canning Vale team. You will receive and check shipments, log them in our inventory system, and ensure accurate storage, picking, packing and dispatch of orders.

Applicants should have 2+ years warehousing or distribution experience, a forklift license, and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement. A pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing is required.

The team at Canning Vale are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join their team.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, checking for accuracy and verifying the condition of the items.

Ensure all deliveries are properly documented and logged in the inventory management system.

Safely and efficiently store goods and materials in designated locations within the warehouse.

Pick and pack orders based on customer requests or internal requisitions.

Regularly update and maintain inventory records, including stock levels, stock movement, and expiration dates (if applicable).

Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.

Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, and coordinate with shipping carriers or logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.

Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools, following safety protocols.

Requirements

2+ years' experience in warehousing and/or distribution

Forklift license is a must; experience with counterbalance and high reach is preferable

A strong commitment to safety practices

Energetic and sociable, capable of working within a tight-knit team
