Job Description
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Candidate Quality team within Artificial Intelligence & Platform Services (AIPS). You’ll help us understand whether our candidate-quality models are performing as intended, how they contribute to marketplace outcomes and where better data and insight can improve product decisions.
You’ll own core data models, metrics and reporting, evaluate model performance, and partner with Product and Data Science to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Analytics Manager, Agentic Hiring. It’s based in Melbourne and works closely with Product, Data Science, Engineering and business stakeholders across SEEK.
Your analysis will help teams understand what "good" looks like in a complex marketplace, improve the quality of candidate recommendations and make better decisions for both candidates and hirers.
The Product Analytics team sits within Artificial Intelligence & Platform Services (AIPS) and helps product teams understand customer behaviour, measure product performance and make evidence-based decisions across the marketplace. Our colleagues are based in Melbourne, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, partnering with Product and leadership teams across Candidate and Hirer, as well as Data Science and other AIPS teams.
The Candidate Quality team uses data, product insight and data science to help SEEK create better connections between candidates and hirers. We work across the candidate and hirer experiences to understand what contributes to quality in the marketplace and identify practical ways to improve it.
At SEEK, we are passionate about fostering a culture of inclusion and wellbeing that embraces and values the diversity of our people. We are a purpose driven business that works with heart.
We know teams with diverse ideas, experiences and perspectives are more creative and are critical to ensuring effective delivery and innovating to enable our future success. As such, we welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds and life experiences, especially as they relate to gender, sexual identity, culture, faith, disability and life stages. If you have the skills, curiosity and an adaptable mindset but don't meet every responsibility or qualification listed in this advertisement, please still get in touch with us. Should you require any specific support or adjustments throughout the recruitment process and beyond, please advise us and we will be happy to assist.
For this role, only those with eligible right to work will be considered.
