Job summary

Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of a high-profile Federal Government agency in Canberra for an experienced Data Analyst to influence strategic decision-making and develop trusted datasets for a nationally significant capability program.

You will provide analytical support across workforce, competency and training data, craft insightful reports and dashboards, and contribute to workforce planning initiatives. NV1 security clearance is required to advance this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing complex datasets, reports and dashboards.
• Strong analytical skills translating data into strategic insights.
• Knowledge of data governance, QA, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent stakeholder communication across levels.
• Experience in government or regulated environments preferred.
• Proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NV1 security clearance.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Program Manager, the Data Analystwill provide vital analytical support across workforce, competency, and training data management. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining datasets, crafting insightful reports and dashboards, and supporting strategic workforce planning initiatives. • Experience working within government or highly regulated environments (desired)
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Negative Vetting 1 (NV1)security clearance
