Zusammenfassung

Sharon AI, Inc. is building a hands‑on Data & AI platform team in Sydney, delivering scalable cloud infrastructure and automated pipelines. The role focuses on owning the cloud foundation, infrastructure as code, and delivery pipelines so engineers can ship data products quickly and safely.

You will work closely with the Data & AI Engineering Lead, applying security‑first practices, and optimizing cost and reliability while enabling self‑service tooling for the wider tech organization.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in cloud, platform, DevOps or site reliability engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong infrastructure as code skills (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and container platforms.
• Security-first mindset, with experience in identity, access and secrets management.
• Scripting skills in Python or similar.

• Design, build and run our AWS foundation: accounts, networking, environments and core services, on an “everything as a service” model.
• Manage all infrastructure as code, so environments are consistent, reviewable and easy to recreate.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for data pipelines, applications and agents, including automated testing and safe releases.
• Build in security from the start: identity and access, secrets management, encryption and audit logging, aligned with listed‑company expectations.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting so the team can see how everything is running.
• Keep cloud costs visible and well managed as the platform grows.
• Create self‑service templates and tooling that make the right way the easy way.
• Partner with IT on shared identity and access standards.

The Role

You build the paved roads that let every engineer ship quickly, safely and repeatably. You own our cloud foundation, infrastructure as code and delivery pipelines, so the team can focus on building data products and agents. You work closely with the Data & AI Engineering Lead and are hands‑on every day.
