Job summary

Carpentaria invites an Occupational Therapist to relocate to Darwin and deliver person-centred therapy to NDIS participants across the lifespan. You will work in home, school, clinic and community settings within a passionate multi-disciplinary Therapy Services team.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in OT, with those based in Darwin or willing to relocate; NDIS knowledge is preferred and experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is also valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Darwin, Northern Territory.
• Commitment to innovative, person-centred services that promote choice and control.
• Knowledge of the NDIS (preferred).
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred therapy to NDIS participants across the lifespan (children, adolescents and adults).
• Work across home, school, clinic and community settings.
• Be part of a multidisciplinary Therapy Services team.
