Job summary

Carpentaria in Darwin is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver person-centred therapy to NDIS participants across home, school, clinic and community settings. You’ll join a multidisciplinary Therapy Services team with a 50+ year history of disability support in the Territory.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of OT experience and relocation to Darwin. Knowledge of NDIS is preferred, and experience with Aboriginal and CALD communities is valued.

We’re seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver person-centred therapy to NDIS participants in Darwin. In this role you’ll work across the lifespan, supporting children, adolescents and adults to reach their goals at home, school, in clinic and within the community. You’ll be part of a passionate multi-disciplinary Therapy Services team, backed by Carpentaria’s 50+ year history of providing not-for-profit disability, therapy and community services for Territorians.

The clinician we’re searching for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Darwin, Northern Territory
• Commitment to innovative, person-centred services that promote choice and control
• Knowledge of the NDIS (preferred)
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities (preferred)

• Competitive salary of $95,697 - $131,735, dependant on qualifications and experience
