Job summary

CareFlight in Darwin is seeking senior critical care doctors for aeromedical transfers across the Top End, interstate and internationally. These full-time roles are based in Darwin with start dates aligned to NT medical terms in February and August.

CareFlight offers comprehensive training, accreditation by ACEM, ANZCA and CICM, visa support, and opportunities to work with leading educators in anaesthesia, emergency medicine and intensive care.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' postgraduate experience in critical care.
• High-level airway and resuscitation skills.
• Registered or eligible for AHPRA registration in Australia.
• ICU and emergency department experience.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• ETM/EMST or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Based in Darwin, perform high and low acuity transfers within the Top End, interstate and internationally.
• Work from Darwin bases and other locations, including remote Indigenous communities.
• Contribute to training and ongoing education within CareFlight’s program.
